Marxism and the Fight for Women's Liberation

In recent years, we've witnessed an escalation in a reactionary push to strip women of the right to control their lives, from politicians seeking to extinguish reproductive freedom, judges siding with corporations against women seeking equal pay and access to healthcare, campus administrations covering up sexual assault, to the threats of violence used to shut down discussion of sexism in popular media.

What will it take put a stop to this trend? How can we bring about genuine women’s liberation? Socialists argue that we need a feminist movement inclusive of all women, that fights for the liberation of women of color, trans women, immigrant women, queer women, indigenous women, women of the Global South. Join us for a discussion of Marxist feminism, and a revolutionary strategy that leaves no woman behind.

Come and lend your voice to the discussion at the meeting of the International Socialist Organization:

  • COLA, Building 6, Room A205 (06-A205)
  • Thursday, November 13th, at 7:00pm
