October 23, 2014 at 07:00PM

RIT, Liberal Arts Building, Room A205

With special guest from Ferguson, MO., Dhoruba Toure Shakur, a leading young independent organizer in the ongoing protest movement arising from the police murder of Mike Brown.

The rebellion against police murder and racism in Ferguson, MO, has reignited an urgent movement against the epidemic of police bruality and terror in Black communities across the country.

Through nonstop protest, resistance, and rebellion, the people of Ferguson have given a defiant voice to Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant, Roshad McIntosh, Rekia Boyd, and countless others whose lives have been stolen by police and the racist system they serve.

Join us for this public discussion about the meaning of Ferguson and how we can continue the fight against racism and police terror.
